Since our inception, we have been committed to provide you with a well trained and equipped group of firefighters to aid in your protection and well-being. We are proud to operate as a SMART (simple, moral, accountable, responsive, transparent) government that accomplishes all our services by using a minimum of your tax dollars.

Currently Orange County Fire/Rescue Emergency Services District #1, "Your Hometown Fire Department", serves a population of approximately 39,000 people. We protect an area of 200 square miles from two fire stations located within our community. Volunteer firefighters, who find reward in donating their time to help protect their neighbors, are supplemented by paid firefighters to provide 24 hours a day protection.

Orange County Fire/Rescue's emergency response fleet includes fire engines, water tankers, brush trucks, and support vehicles. These emergency response vehicles help us serve each of you during your time of need.

All personnel train constantly with the latest technology and emergency reponse operations. This training involves both classroom sessions and hands-on experience.

Through dedication, hard work and devotion to our community, the Orange County Fire/Rescue Emergency Services District #1 exists for one purpose and one purpose only; to serve you!
